If you’re interested in learning more about MicroPython check out some great recent and upcoming presentations about it at various Python conferences:

• Programming the Web of Things with Python and MicroPython by Hardy Erlinger at the recent PyCon.DE conference in Germany.  Check out videos of all the other talks too!
• Can you please pass the data? IoT communication with MicroPython by Sev Leonard this January at PyCascades in Vancouver, BC.  The schedule for this conference shows lots of interesting talks including a keynote from Python creator Guido van Rossum!
• Nicholas Tollervey’s Keynote on the BBC micro:bit, MicroPython, and the mu editor this February at PyCon Pune in India.  The schedule for this conference looks like it has a lot of other great talks planned!

Another excellent conference early next year is FOSDEM 2018 in Brussels, Belgium.  FOSDEM is a major open source software conference and includes a number of excellent Python talks each year.  Last year saw quite a few great MicroPython talks too!  The schedule isn’t released yet but keep an eye on the FOSDEM website for news.  You’ll also find MicroPython has a stand at FOSDEM this year too!
